Walkin' The Dog (gpo & Jabb)

Now on my Bluegrass trilogy posting

Here is a little bit of Detroit Blue Grass , 'pity there's no bango in JABB so I had to use HALion sampled banjo (changed this).

    Gagli Violin
    Acoustic Guitar
    Upright Bass 1
    Classic Jazz Drums
Banjo (Roland M-GS64 Sound Module) revived from a dark corner in the attic.
    Whistle & Dog (yours truly)

    Walkin' The Dog

That was fun. It took me back to the bluegrass craze of the early seventies.

    Real neat stuff.

Be careful with that title though. That was a Kingsmen tune. You know, Louie, Louie.

It's a hoedown. That was a fun listen but what is a Gagli Violin? Is that part of GPO or is it from the Strad?

    Hi Phil, glad you enjoyed,
Actually this is a bluegrass version of the Grateful Dead track from 1966. written by Rufus Thomas.

    Hi! Joe,
It's the first solo violin in GPO. I think it fits in to many genres, and I'm trying to proove it.

    Cheers

A pity it only lasts 2:08 !! I love it. Wondered what kind of a dog this was. I am sure not a Rottweiler!

    Raymond,
There's more! I have another couple of tunes to present bluegrass style when I get a chance. I'll try and not trip over the flea bitten mut of a dog on the porch. Only joking! about the animal.
I've re-done this piece with a different banjo. I didn't like the first one.

    Thanks for listening
