    HELP! Can't access one website...

    All,

My web browser (Internet Explorer, version 6) won't allow me to access the website and music of one of the posters in the Listening Room section. I can access all other websites in the Universe except that one. It has a dot net suffix if that is of any consequence.

I would appreciate any help with IE settings or whatever I need to do to solve this problem.

    Thanks in advance,

    Larry

    1. What's the URL of the site you are trying to access?

    2. Have you tried it in another browser such as Firefox or Opera?

Can you post a link to the website?

    It's Ray's website in Scotland:

    www.rayinstirling.net

I have never used any browser other than Internet Explorer but I will try something else if necessary.

Just tested it on a couple computers of mine

Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.2: Site is functional
Internet Explorer 7: Site is functional
    Safari: Site is functional
    Konqueror: Site is functional
Links2: Site is text-based...like all sites viewed in Links2.

You can try another program, I just don't see what would be causing that.

Thanks for your efforts. I am puzzled too.

    Larry,

I didn't really take it seriously when you reported this to me some time ago, seeing as everyone else seemed to have no trouble.
I'm definitely not blocking your access in any way, I'm not sure I could. i don't understand it either.

    Kind regards

It works for me in Opera and IE6, but in IE6 there is some kind of addvertisement pop-up for easyspace.com, that is partially blocked. Could it be a pop-up blocker (firewall?), that prevents you from accessing the site?

I'm able to access the website (actually a rare occurrence for me). I would suggest Mozilla Fire Fox as well. That is what I am using.

I can't listen to your music at the present time. Maybe I can get this cleared up soon.
