    RAM asignation in GS

    Hi,

Sorry for this basic question, but I have a very old version of GS and I'm about to upgrade to the new version, so I'd like to know:

In the new versions,in order to reduce streaming from disk can I asign more ram to store a bigger portion of the sample?
Is this a setting in the new GS or is just like the old one that used a small portion of ram per sample?

tks for any info on this.

I think that you will find the answer to your question if you check out the GS3 User's Manual, which you can find at http://tascamgiga.com/pdf/GS3_Manual.pdf

Look on page 35, where it shows how you can configure how much of your system memory is used for streaming samples and how much of your system memory is used for loading instruments.

Is this the info that you're looking for?
