Happy Pluto Day! Pluto Is A Planet Again

HAPPY PLANET PLUTO DAY! on March 13th

First it was not a planet, then it was a planet, then it was not. Now it's a planet again -- but only if you live in New Mexico: A Joint Memorial Declaring Pluto A Planet.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO that, as Pluto passes overhead through New Mexico's excellent night skies, it be declared a planet and that March 13, 2007 be declared "Pluto Planet Day" at the legislature.
If your life is not complete without Pluto being a planet you can move the New Mexico where it is legally a planet!

Are they sure that wasn’t just an Echo satellite passing overhead?

i might be the only only one, but i'm glad they finally got rid of pluto as a planet - because it simple wasn't. its like getting mad that we aren't still calling earth, wind, water, and fire elements anymore. its about time scientists finally caught up to the science. later pluto.

You know, if they mercilessly dumped Pluto,
I think it's only fair they kick Jupiter out,
    as well.

Jupiter's way to fat. And it's got ugly spots
    on it.

And Saturn. What about Saturn? That's
got rings. What kind of planet has rings?
Jewelry stores have rings. Planets have
    moons.

Except Venus and Mercury, of course.
No moons. Even Uranus and Neptune have
moons. Out they go, Venus and Mercury
    are planetary toast.

There, now. Isn't that much better, more
    sensible?

That leaves Earth, Mars, Neptune and
Uranus. But Neptune and Uranus are just
big gas bags. You know what that means.
No place to park... and they probably smell
real bad, too. Planets should smell good,
at least in my estimation, so Neptune and
Uranus should be lit on fire and sent
careening out of our solar system.

So. Earth and Mars it is. Except for one
little problem: Mars is red. Earth is mostly a
    nice soothing blue with frothy white clouds;
but Mars? Yeesh. Talk about gaudy, cheap,
    and tasteless. Out it goes.

There. All nice and neat, now, which should
please even the most neurotically orderly sorts...
