Well, my oh my this certainly "bounces along" I like the 'english horn'. Very nice color changes - you write well for the woodwinds. You must be a woodwind player. Nice job on this 'refreshing' piece.

Thanks Wrayer for your feedback and comments. Actually no, I have never played a wind instrument at all, piano and organ are my interests!

Very nice. Is this for a musical?

Swinkler - no it's an orchestral movement which I intend as part of a suite, probably consisting of 5 or 6 items, which are in various states of completion.
    Thanks for your reply.

I've got a beautiful early spring day blossoming
forth this morning, and this is perfect accompaniment
    to it.

The woodwind work in this, particularly, is fine
writing, Eugene, one of your strengths, surely; and
the fresh, uplifting feel of the piece is invigorating.

Fine job on this, and I'm looking forward to the suite!
Not to take away from solid work with the rendering,
I might add that I think this would really shine in
live performance. I hope you find an opportunity
    for it.

What a delightful piece of music!

This is excellent, Lad. I enjoyed your little romp. You demonstrated a good knowledge of harmony and orchestration.

Thanks for posting your fine music.

    My best,

You must be the Eric Coates of Ireland.
As I listen I'm transported back to my school days, light music on the BBC light programme on in the background, da dee da- dee da- da- da- da.
    I enjoyed this work thanks
