    "Prizm" (with a 'z')

    Y'all All,

Here is something I first posted back in 2005. This is my "Prizm" (with a 'z').

All of the instruments are from the GPO sample library.

    Regards,

Yes, I remember this one from the prior three times
it was posted, Larry. Nice piece. I liked the structure
    and shaping of it.

You might want to check the links in those, though
    I think they're correct:

    Hi Larry:

I never heard this before so I played it twice......

I like the "flavor" of this piece--it reminds me of Slavic or Russian music; or, even a Greek ingredient or two. Nevertheless, it is a rousing, romping, merry, dancing experience for the listener.

I also liked your use of the piano "alone" in the first part and the orchestra "alone" toward the ending. Caught the change to a major key also. Good writing, Larry.

    BRAVO,

Thanks for the good words, Mr. Jack. My best to you out there on the "left coast".

I hope David is not suggesting you *bump* for the sake of getting new postings of the first page of the listening room as soon possible.
    How sad would that be!
I think I'll have a little listen to postings over the last six months myself and see what I can resurrect.

    Yours Sincerely,

    Ray

I don't know what he is suggesting, if anything.

I don't normally "bump" any of my works. In this case I re-posted this composition so that new members of this forum could hear it. New members are joining on a daily basis.

I don't know what your "How sad would that be..." comment means. From my past, mostly unpleasant experiences with you, it's probably a put-down.

You have around 75 tunes on the Garritan demo page, I wouldn't think there's much chance of anyone being unable to hear your work if you did not re-post (bump) here!
I'll accept my punishment for this post, if and when it's proven to be unseemly. I have, this morning lost a dear friend, a great musician and a fine and humble man, sudden death, probably a heart attack at 54. I am distraught but that's not why I posted this.
