    Personal Canyon

    Personal Canyon

The only good listen is the mp3, which uses the GPO organ.

For score viewing, the Scorch plug-in can be downloaded free.

The name commemorates the condition of my yard, which, for a brief period, served as my private Grand Canyon.

Richard, I always look forward to hearing your work with the GPO organ. This one might well be a tad demanding for the listener had we not been forewarned of the subject matter!! You have captured in this piece, a sense of resignation to chaos and disorder - yet I also sense a feeling of fun. It's almost as if you're saying 'yeah I know the yards a mess but hey, it's not hurting anyone'

I enjoyed this - and you've just reminded me: it's time to get out out there and sort the garage out - it's a tip!

    Regards, Graham

Richard, this is a challenge to my ear but I can appreciate your music. If you are expressing what you hear, then you have accomplished a great thing.

I could feel the blood rush to my brain for coolant on this one. I hope it cleaned out any plague build up. It runs in the family.

    Good heavens!!!
Never heard an organ play like this.
Excellent, but as already said "a bit strange" in harmonies.
I want this piece heard at the Notre-Dame in Paris!!!

Well, thank all of you for listening.Even more thanks for taking the time to comment. The general concensus, in which I concur, seems to be that my music might be defined as avant garde or far out.

    So do I!

I am thinking that I should attach a warning label to my music, such as WARNING; IF YOU ARE MUSICALLY CONSERVATIVE THIS MUSIC CAN BE HARMFUL TO YOUR MENTAL HEALTH OR CAUSE APOPLEXY.

I always enjoy and identify with Phil's comments.

For this one, I think I'm going to just nod, and say, "I concur".

What a ride, Richard! Especially the central section.

whoa - i need to relax now

if stanley kubrick were still alive, he'd probably be giving you a call to use this in one of his films
