    Heavy Strings...

    How is everyone?

    After doing some small piano solo pieces, I wanted to try writing for strings.
    It's more of like a test than anything else. It was my plan to write them very "heavy" like the composer Yuki Kajiura if you know what I mean. Let me know what you think(it's short so you won't be tortured for too long ).

    I think you could bring out textures more if each time a part is
    sustaining a note, use a gradual (or faster) decrescendo.
    Let it sound like ocean waves cascading over each other.

    You're achieving a good, fluid sound with this
    approach, n3wman918. Try working more with
    dynamics -- especially in a style like this, the
    strings would tend to swell and recede more,
    I think.
