K2 Player makes my samples drop out

I don't know if this is my fault or not, but I would like to get to the bottom of it. When I load the GPO samples in the old player, it loads them all into memory and they load fine. In the new player, everything looks great, but it cuts off some notes and doesn't play others at all. It almost sounds like a DFD problem, but when I max out the cache it doesn't help at all. My computer is a laptop so the hard drive is slow, but I have plenty of memory. Is the K2 player going to be useless for me? Thanks!

It is best to use a 7200+ RPM drive for DFD. A 5200 RPM drive is a bit slow.

You may try to set Options | DFD | "Override instrument's preload size" higher (remember to check it) and see if that helps.
