Article on Virtual Orchestras on Broadway in the New York Times

The New York Times has just run an extensive article on the use of virtual orchestra software on Broadway and beyond. Specific products mentioned are Notion and Realtime Music Solutions Sinfonia.

I can't copy and paste the article here; it's too large. You can find it at this URL but you may have to create a free log-in profile to read it.

Thanks for posting this, Wheat. VERY interesting article about the use of Notion and Sinfonia in the touring versions of some shows, and the constant debate about using such set ups on Broadway.

Reminds me that I have a post to write which is an off-shoot of this topic. I shall return with it.
