    ipMidi: 20 Ports!

    I just found this:

    http://www.nerds.de/en/ipmidi.html

    Anyone using it?

Might be a good way to add an other 20 ports if Midi Over Lan is getting filled up.

    Thanks for the link.

I'll be trying it over the next few days, and will report on what I've found.

    Hi ProToolsGuy,

This one, MidiOverLan ... is the famous one. It's been around for quite a few yrs.

I've been using it for a long time.

ipMidi seems more simple in set up and doesn't have the advanced configuration options that MOL has, but that's ok. I just need more ports before I buy things like Atmosphere etc.

Forte' is reall cool also. It's a virtual host for VST.

I've been running it for about 2 yrs.

Do you mean Forte' only runs WDM?

I guess I never noticed because I use WDM.

    I checked:
"Audio Output Device: At least one Windows WDM or ASIO compliant audio output device "

What are you referring to Stephen?
