    Weird Suspense/Thrill/Scary/Chase Scene type music

i haven't posted anything in a while so i figured i throw this one out there. its not done and still in a rough phase, but this is the gist of it. its meant to sound kind of scary and suspenseful, i guess i said that already in the title. anyway, its labeled A Minor Spiccato

    Very dark and engaging, Keith!

I can easily envision flight in cars, flying cars, and running through the woods or in a dark tunnel for escape.

You are not terribly far into the piece. Might I suggest a bit of GONG??? (or something else that would resonate a little more strongly, placed a half note after key hits). A Left hand piano countermelody insert midway into the piece to work with the repeating cello line could add some flare too!

Best of luck with the polish work (and excited to hear a new version),

thanks for listening, and i definitely know what you mean about the left hand piano. i was thinking about putting in an alberti type bass line on the piano in there with straight eights and give it that evil feel. maybe even a big organ or something over the top.

and if you have anything you'd like some comments on feel free to let me know, i love listening to the music people on this site compose. thanks again for listening.

    Keith,

As I replied elsewhere, I like this a lot. Might be neat to throw in a sudden modulation. Just a thought. Good motoric use - they can get dull very quickly, but yours maintained its drive an freshness.

    Nice job.

Thumbs up Re: Weird Suspense/Thrill/Scary/Chase Scene type music

Great suspence and drama! Yes you nailed it well. It sounds like it would be a perfect fit for some characters working against the clock to fend off some impending peril or catastrophic event.
