How to create plunger mute technique?

    Dear All,

I need to transcribe a few songs that require the plunger mute effects of the trumpet. I read the JABB Manual and it said that cc16 can control the "open/close" action of the mute. But it refers to another manual for detail explanation.

So far I cannot find this manual on this website yet. Can anyone share some knowledge about this plunger mute technique please?

    Thanks in advance.

    Dear Tom,

Thank you very much for your advice. I downloaded your mp3 and midi files and played it with the trumpet plunger mute sound library, and it sound very similar. The challenge is how to draw the cc16 parameter expressively with our notation software. Anyway, this is a good start and it sound so beautiful.

    Best,

    Symon
