Based on a historical post, (I'll salute anyone who can figure out which one), I've decided to return to the Middle Ages. Things were much simpler and much better then. So from now on, that's where I'm coming from. Good day.

Go watch Monty Python's "Holy Grail" again and reconsider.

    "Bring out ya Dead!"

Compared to today, one could argue that those were the "good ol' days" though, so I see your point.

I wouldn't mind to go to the Middle Ages, as far as I can go with my studio (PC, speakers, monitors, 88 keyboard, libraries, etc)
I could be happier living in the country...

Wasn't the life expectancy in the middle ages around 30 years?

I think it's even less if you have to face the rabbit guarding the holy grail

So.......... can't help wondering what Yanks know about the Middle Ages. What about the Dark Age and beyond that. Then you'd be talking history. Middle Ages are quite recent to us.

What is all this 'a historical'? You're such a Yank at times.

    Hey PaulR.

I am Spanish. I love the Middle Ages and Dark Age. I live in one of the oldest region of Spain, with a lot of history and legends from that ages.

Yes indeed - you had that wonderful institution called the Spanish Inquisition that did quite a lot of good I believe. Of course, back before 1539 England was a very different place.

That is a topic. Another one is that we are all bullfighters!! If you read more history you will see that some other European countries had a worst inquisition than Spain.
Anyhow I don't judge people for where they come from. If so, every country have reasons to shame.
I am proud of being Spanish, as you of being English.
