    Ouch! - at least it wasn't a Steinway! Personally I don't care much for Bosendorfer's - but ouch in any case!

    I hope they at least recorded the sound it made as it crashed - preferably from 3 mic positions.

    I dimly recall hearing about a supposed sample library that resulted in the complete destruvtion of the piano by the time they were done... did I imagine it?

    You're quite right - I think it was called Piano Attack.

    They conveniently happen to have a "just before" picture and a "just after" picture. What are the chances of a guy taking photographs just as that happens? Hmm....
