    Requiem for a PC

    Hi Folks,

last weekend my system decided to give up and disappear into the void.
I have to wait until they build a new one.. so at the end of this month I will have full access again to this wonderful forum.

    Until then....

    A respectful moment of silence.

We all feel your pain and will share in the joy of your eventual return.

I wish you well. I am expecting the demise of my old computer at any time. It has held together long enough to get me started on a new computer that failed to work for 18 months. At seven years old, and through my first fumblings with midi, it has survived in spite of me. I will miss it when it goes and nurse it along until it does.

Best of luck with your new machine,
    tony

The PC arrived. They technician forgot to mount extra memory and to connect some USB ports. So I have to go back with that bloody thing.

But for the rest... a wonderful silent machine. Specs will follow soon.

Silent? I thought the objective was for it to emit great music!
