    Underestimated strings library

I just picked up Halion Strings Edition 2 with my Cubase 4 upgrade for $99.00. This strings library surprised me. They sound pretty good. I actually like the solo strings in this library more than the solo strings in EWQLSO. And for $99.00, it's a bargin.

Kirk Hunter early orchestra strings for $49 bucks also work well in a lot of situations as well as used to double other string sounds... Aggressive, but a good sound...

I use HALion Symphonic Orchestra and I think that's also an underrated library. The strings are from HALion St. Edition 2 and I agree they sound awesome. Especially the short staccato/spiccato patches.
