    "FlatTop"

    Fellow Music Makers,

Here is something that I wrote today. This is my "FlatTop". The title doesn't refer to the shape of my head. It has to do with the style of acoustic guitar on which the melodic line is played.

    It is partial GPO.

    My best,

    Larry

An amusing diversion, Larry! Though I think were
it me, I might shorten it a bit. It tends to have
a somewhat mechanical Band-In-A-Box feel to it,
to my ear, as well; perhaps a bit more subtlety with
slight changes in tempi and dynamics would give it
    a more human touch.

    My best,

I think David makes some good points but I did like the over all feel of it.

Something not too demanding as I recover from my recent bout with a rather brutal very late winter cold bug.

Larry! One of the few posts of yours I managed to somehow miss. Better late than never, right?

Now wait a minute--you said you wrote it the same day you posted it--?! I cannot imagine being able to produce ANything that quickly.

And, as I've long since grown to expect, this has the agile Alexander touch throughout the composition. I know if you decided to work longer on this that some of the kind of things David commented on could be amped up, but meanwhile, it's a fun, well done ditty. Glad I finally caught it!
