Son qual nave by Broschi (intro)

Made with Garritan strings, martellato technique , a baroque harpsichord and hall noise (it's only the intro).

(You can download or hear streaming audio)

The hall noise is very loud

This aria was sang by Farinelli (remember Farinelli il castrato movie? )

Hi, marinmarais--I was all ready to hear your piece, but you are using one of the Worst websites for sharing files. Page after page, trying to get the visitor to subscribe--I'm sorry, but I found it all too annoying and just closed the window.

Let me suggest http://www.box.net -Hassle free storage with simple, direct downloads available to visitors.

Pardon me for being a bit grouchy about this--I Did want to hear your music, but I've seen that site before and I feel it's a rip-off.

What is the purpose of the extraneous noise? It adds nothing to...nay, it detracts from the music.

There we go! That link works fine, Marin--It started streaming as soon as the page loaded.

    Vigorous!

This piece has rapidly repeating notes which are difficult to render realistically. The "machine gun" effect is in your recording, making the file sound like it's fluttering. Tricky thing to fix, but it's rather pronounced I'm afraid.

And you're certainly right that the hall noises are very loud. I think your work would be better served without that trick. It's a fun idea, but at least with the noise mixed in so loudly, I feel that it detracts.

Did you want to form a live atmosphere by adding the noices?

Hey man, mix a new dryer version and post again...
