    No aftertouch for Cello

My midi controller is a Kurzweil SP88x. It apparently does not support aftertouch or channel pressure. I now that the vibrato rate is controlled via aftertouch.
Has anyone else dealt with this issue? and if so, could you share your thoughts?
    Thanks

Yes, I've dealt with this question for the Strad. Using Sonar (maybe Cubase has it too) you can assign "aftertouch" and draw it with the mouse. A hell of a job, though.

To be honest with you, my Midi Oberheim MC1000 has aftertouch, but I am too lazy to use it. For me it is more labour, but I find it still easier to "draw everything by hand" . Besides that, the aftertouch on my Midi keybrd. is a bit "raw" tuned, too coarse.
