Anybody got Jupiter-8V yet? Dongle question

What do you think? Any Mac users with Waves version of the iLock dongle, is it compatible with Arturia's Synchrosoft dongle? I know Waves has had issues in the past, wondier if ot is OK to buy now.

BTW - does it sound as good as it looks?

Yeah I got it. Very nice offering from Arturia. It is rather CPU intensive though. Mine came supplied with a dongle. Installation was smooth. Buy it and have fun!

There should be no conflict between Synchrosoft and iLok.

Re: Anybody got Jupiter-8V yet? Dongle question

I have various Wave plug-ins as well as a few other plug-ins all authorized and running on an iLok.

I also have the Juptiter 8V, VSL's Vienna Instruments and some IK Multimedia plug-ins running from a couple of syncrosoft keys.

No issues whatsoever. Everything's working great.

Cool. Thanks, guys. I know that Synchro and iLok are supposed to play together nicely (according to their websites) but in the real world it ain't always the case, and I don't have time to rebuild my sequencer (again) after system conflicts.

Forgot to mention - I plan to install on my G5 (Power PC, not Intel) with Digital performer. Any further comments/issues?
