For those of us that have an inkjet printer such as an Epson R380 and want a surface that the ink will not run, try
Taiyo Yuden WaterShield Glossy White Inkjet Printable CD-R - 52X 80Min 700MB, Water Resistant, Hub Printable, 50pack. I use them all the time now with excellent results. I've even poured water (hot and cold) over a printed CD and it held perfectly. And, the glossy finish makes the print look as if it is under a clear coat.

YES! Taiyo Yuden are the best CDs and DVDs made. get the ones made in Japan though. i was told to burn at a very slow speed for 100% results and it is true. i have an old Epson Stylus Photo 900 that never fails me.
Hm, made in Japan, eh? How can you tell? I have 50 coming in for a project and have already printed on 25 from the last spool I bought. I used fast speed 45X to burn and had no problem. Also, printed on the 25 using an Epson R320. The labels look nice and everyone seems to like them.
Japan, eh? Hmm, interesting.
There are several places but the best price and fastest delivery time from BurnSmart.com. I've purchased 5 spools so far.
BTW - I'm getting over anxious and want to open my copy of DP!!!! I have to wait for the Mac foist. Also, got a copy of Samplitude Pro V9 and having a hoot with it on PC! Nice pitch correction feature and the midi is great!
