Don Ellis type mp3 at Wallander Instruments

Hello, just wanted to post this for those who might be interested. I created a short mp3 of a "Don Ellis" experiment I tried out last night using WIVI and a couple of vst FX. Here is the link : http://www.wallanderinstruments.com/...meets_WIVI.mp3 Keep in mind I did this really quick, so forgive my abillities, however, it shows off quarter tone playing as well as other "Ellis"-like behavior. Also check out the "Maynard" patch mp3 located here : http://www.wallanderinstruments.com/...in_Maynard.mp3 again forgive my playing abillity...these were both done rather quickly...no editing. I plan on doing much better demos in the near future where I'll take more time to create them properly. These are simply quick experiments. Thanks! Jaime

    A good work!

But, I said it in other threads, this instruments sounds to me more plastic... .

Give me some time and I will go to my cellar and bring up my old casio cz101 synth, and then play some brasssounds with it and post it here..... .

Hi again, yes the Ellis mp3 is heavily effected, so please don't judge it's sound to be plastic...I tried to process this as Ellis himself would process his horn to get "that sound". Thanks! Jaime

Actually I just recorded audio in Vegas, hence there was no midi...sorry. As I mentioned this was a quick experiment on my part, and Arne liked it enough to kindly host it on his web site. Jaime

I would like tons quietly stress:

The Casio CZ101 was a very good instrument at this time when he came out to the market!

I at that time programmed and commerziell sold sounds for this synthesizer in germany... .

    At that time,
even a good report was in the German music newspaper “Keyboards” to read over my work.
