    "Quintet In E"

    All,

This is my short work, "Quintet In E".

I am considering expanding it a tad.

    My best to everyone,

    Larry

Good morning, my prolific friend in Texas

This twittering and charming Quintet could indeed be "expanded a tad" to good effect. Right around 1:30 when the first theme is being re-stated, an exploration of the minor section earlier could be a nice place for development.

My first listening experience this morning, this, and I feel refreshed. AAaah, thank you!

    Some interesting rhytmic impetus in places in this, Larry;
uncharacteristic of anything I've heard from you before,
    but quite effective.

The recording... Larry, this seems quite dry (and either
all-centered of mono?) For the heck of it, I layered on
a little Ambience, locally, and it does wonders for the
    overall sound.

    My best,

Nice happy little piece, forgive my ignorance but what instruments make up the quintet?

Yes, the new digital interface that I installed recently is still giving me a hard time.

    Thanks,

It's the standard woodwind quintet including flute, oboe, clarinet, "french" horn and bassoon.

    Thanks for listening.
