Whoops--your new moderator (me) is already asleep at the job! I saw this question earlier today and intended to reply--got side tracked.

Thank you, Leaf--yes, that's right. As the winner of this last round, I'm to pass the baton by composing a theme for Challenge 14. Then we'll have Sean collect the MP3s, and his signature already has a link to the Challenge archive with the guidelines posted.

We'll try to make all the guidelines as clear as possible, time lines etc--and then much later Gary will put up the polling thread.

Stand by---I plan on posting the new theme by or on the weekend.

I listened to your entire entry more than once. I found it to have some interesting nuance. Your story just adds to the intrigue of how many different mental processes are used by composers to aid in a pieces development.

As for your comment,

Finally, I would also like to blame, I mean, thank RichR, whose intriguing modernish entry to OC#12 was the catalyst for my entry.

I had no idea my musical presentations would have an impact on other composers. I'm not sure if I should feel guilty or honored (or a little of both).
