    Wiki Sheet Music Site

I was looking for a source of sheet music and ran across this Wiki project page.

    http://imslp.org/wiki/Main_Page

There are lots of good scores up there. I thought some of you might find this helpful.

Well, at least on first glance, it looks interesting. I bookmarked it, but have not yet explored it beyond the main page, which I will do soon.

Really interesting site with alot of potential to be amazing. There is a "wish list" for scores they don't have yet. Most of the ones I searched for were on the "wish list." BUT I was able to download the full score to Debussy's Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun. This is potentially a great resource!

I think this was posted here once before. I've been visiting it for a while
and have downloaded lots of scores.

The quality is all over the place. Some scores look very nice. Others
    are blurry and/or skewed.

Something to keep in mind: The scores are free, but printer cartridges
are expensive. Think twice before printing out that 100 page Mahler
    Song Cycle.

By coincidence, I stumbled across this site yesterday. I was going to post a link here this morning, but you beat me to it.

this thing is awesome. there were some rachmaninov scores i've been dying to check out, and they are all there - very exciting. hopefully this grows as it will be an incredible resource to composers.

Quite so! Acquisition of an injket is slight; use is expensive, far more so than a laser printer. I could not afford to use my inkjet, so I dumped it and bought a good quality laser, and now print as I wish. I do not have color, but I don't have a need for color, as my printing is mostly drafts of scores that I can mark up easily and then make the changes on the computer.

It's a bit hit and miss. Sometimes you find they have what you want, but it turns out to be a piano arrangement or something. A few other free sites:

I'm disappointed. They don't have "The Flame" by Cheap Trick. ... Just kidding!

Seriously, thanks for the link! Very useful.

I'll post a mention of this in the Rimsky-Korsakov area as well.
