    Bergonzi

heard me a nice concert last night, in the square just off my house, a quartet featuring Jerry Bergonzi in great shape... I couldn't resist and back home I wanted to try to emulate his sound. I soon found it an impossible task, but nonetheless I made a quick solo, that more or less (less) gives a rough idea of what I was listening to... two choruses on "have you met miss jones" changes.

    kind regards

    Roberto,

My inspiration is back in the listening room.

I'll never match your soloing but I'll try and match your balanced sound.

Brilliant as usual. Should we have a seperate Jazz room? Hmm!

    Bravo!

Thanks, Ray, from what I hear you haven't got too much to learn...

    Re: Bergonzi

Forgive my ignorance, but did you play the saxophone by yourself? It sounds too real to be from a sample. I adore jazz but I'm afraid my knowledge of it is rather limited.... Anyway, again, this is superb.

hi Louis, yes, this is tenorsax1 from JABB. I play it through a Yamaha BC3 controller so that I can give the appropriate inflections. Thanks for appreciating...
