    Question Gigapulse problem and question!

    Hi, question about Gigapulse.
I have stacked 2 instruments on 5 differents Channels in GS3. I am trying to apply a different GPulse setup on both of them by routing each channel separately in the DSP Station.

But as soon as the GPulse are applied, the CPU meter of Giga is reaching 8090% even if I am not playing anything!

-Why GPulse is using so much CPU even if nothing is played? I doesn't look a normal behaviour to me :-) It becomes worst if I add more mics, and get better if a only use 1 mic.

-How many GPulse instances/mics I am supposed to be able to load at the same time?

    Here is my machine config:
    CPU P4 3.0Ghz
    1Gb of RAM DDR400Mhz
    MB ASUS P4P800
2 SATA2 HD, libraries are on the second one.
    M-Audio Delta 2496
All WinXP performance tuning config applied...

    Gigastudio 3.21
    Cubase SX3.1.1

    Any help would be appreciated.

Your reason for editing is "I have found the answer".

    What was it?

Here is the info I found. Sorry for the delay...

So, all explanations to my Gigapulse questions/problem are clearly explained in the Gigapulse tutorial on the Tascam website:

Everything is clearly explaned: CPU behaviour and how to keep it low. Also, good routing example is explained.

I hope it helps. Please feel free to add precisions.
