I´m searching for very well recorded sound libraries for ad productions. Things like background atmos, but also un-processed sounds related to any situation in life like opening bottles and pouring drinks into glasses (more that 3 options), loughter, car sounds... I think you know what I mean. - Any good suggestions?
I would avoid Ultimate Sound Banks' Xtreme FX.
Sounds are fine, but the VI is not really fit for purpose.
You need one instance of the VI for each sound.
And despite claims that once you have selected a sound, you can drag the waveform into your DAW ... you cannot. This feature only works for "loop" based sounds .. and there are none in this particular library.
I'd also recommend sound ideas libraries as they cover all the basic real world sounds well. I'd also suggest that if you need a sound that is not in a library that you own. Just go over to http://www.sounddogs.com/ and pay a few dollars and you get the sound you need. Sometimes it can work out cheaper buying a few sounds here and there than buying whole libraries. Only problem with online libraries is sometimes the compressed mp3 sound demo sounds terrible and nothing like the 16bit 48k wav file that you get. So you have to use your imagination and add all the top end to the sound in your head to hear what the uncompressed version will sound like... But it always good to own a few large general libraries as they cover almost all situations, then buy sounds online for special occasions.
