I still have a question: what about site license upgrades?
Thanks,

Afaik that policy has been abonded since Tascam took over Nemesys.

sounds like it\'s been abandoned in a good way-there\'s now a one per person license as opposed to a per install license.
at least that\'s how i interpreted it.
Im still trying to find out how much the upgrade is from GS160[pre Jan 2004] to GS 3.0 ensemble?
<font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana, Arial\">The pricing makes no sense. It is cheaper to buy GS3 Ensemble then upgrade to Orchestra than it is to buy GS2 Orchestra outright.Originally posted by PolarBear:

It\'s even cheaper to go from GS3 Solo to GS3 Orchestra: $539 versus $599 to just buy Orchestra.
Kinda funny.
It would be nice if Giga3 worked like Kontakt - 1 piece of software that I can install on multiple machines.
Somewhat amusing link... I like the way they\'re pitching giga as being a sampler that allows more than one sample per octave, unlike \'other samplers\'. Rather like boasting that my car has wheels.
I think having a license per machine will be suicide... at the moment, there is a slight possibility that I may be persuaded off Halion and back to Tascam, if G3 does actually prove to be more efficient than Halion, which certainly G2 isn\'t at the moment.
However, a license per machine would most definitely stop me from doing that.
