    Vote for Orchestration Challenge 14!

It's time to vote for Ochestral Challenge #14!.

As the winner of Challenge 13, Randy created the theme for people to orchestrate and arrange for this round.

We received 18 entries this time, quite a showing! And the entries are excellent. This is going to be the toughest Challenges yet!

Many thanks to Randy for the theme. Thanks again to Sean for putting thisall together and hosting the entries. And a big thanks to all of the participants.

This is a "one-vote-per-person" poll. We'll keep the voting open for about two weeks.

    Have fun and good luck!

    The choices are:

    Awesome Gary!! Thank you!

EDIT: Don't want to click so much? Download a zip file with all the entries. (around 65 MB)

Don't want to save each entry to your computer? Try the Quick Player.

As a refresher to what the theme was:

    LOL

    Curse You Randy!

I can't get that @#$%^ theme out of my head!

Only joking, I love the simple theme and applaud all the interesting ways people have used it.

I am filled with feelings of alacrity at the talent here.

    I agree David.

Some of the nice music here reminds me to christmas.... .

    Gary,

I would suggest that it would be good, that we all here at this poll-site can listen the music topic that was given from Randy.

So we all can hear what all the participants have done with this simple music-topic... .

    Only my suggestion....

    WOW!

It's a record-breaking Challenge with eighteen entries! Fantastic!

OH Boy - I can hardly wait to hear what people have done with the melody I wrote for this.

AND, as per Gunther's request, here again is the MIDI file which was originally posted along with the notation which YBaCuO has already helpfully re-posted:

What great fun this Challenge event is - THANK YOU, everyone who participated. It's going to be a pleasure to hear all the work you've come up with.

Wow, Eighteen! They sound great! That's 17 very fine entries plus my entry. Mine sounded pretty good to me by itself, but with it next to all those really good entries it now seems kinda lame. I learned a lot by doing it though and looking forwrd to doing it again, only next time better.
