Brian, thanks for the debriefing. I wasn't sure what was going on -- looks like I missed some unpleasantness. The waltz, i am fairly sure, refers to my entry (16). I intentionally kept it in the spirit of the original melody -- I wanted to see how much I could do with it within that context. I thought that, for me, that would be a real challenge (though I didn't vote for mine!) I do remember seeing a post that said something like "if there were any entries worth listening to" -- something like that-- and was really shocked. If one is used to more unusual music, then it is perhaps quite a challenge to do something creative with a simple theme, at least I found it so.
