BDMO vs FabFour Lady Madonna Pianos

Here is ProAudioVault's demo of Lady Madonna with the Blüthner Digital Model http://www.proaudiovault.com/PAV_BDMO_Madonna.wav This sound was derived from the Pop Rock Timbral Impulse number 43. This example includes the original recording's percussion timing (same arrangement different timbre).

Here is East West's demo of Lady Madonna from their sampling CD Fab Four http://www.proaudiovault.com/East_We...ur_madonna.wav

Well it would help if both versions were in the same key and bounced at at least somewhere near the same level.

That said, the Bluthner sounds better but the Fab 4 sounds closer to how I remember the piano on the record but my daughter has apparently absconded with it so more later.

Is it just me, or are the East West sounds only coming out of one channel?

I think the East West demo only has the sound on one channel like it is on The Beatles version. The East West is quite close to the original sound.

Would be interesting to throw in one of the pianos from Propellerheads/Abbey Roads: "Abbey Roads Instruments". Probably the Challen.
They where recorded at Studio 2 in Abbey Road, using the old mics, desks and stuff.

As everyone knows - Lady Madonna is in A major and I've probably played it since 1968 or something more times than I've had hot dinners.

The sound of the first one is the closest.
