    OT - iphone hack

i know this is off topic, but i thought it was really funny. some 17 year old new jersey kid hacked the iphone so anyone can use the webservice without an at&t service. to make it even better he posted the how to on the internet. i guess apple stock rose 3.2% last night most likely due to this. i love punk teenagers.

He is selling it on ebay, and, I kid you not, the current price is 100 million dollars.

I'd like to know who the heck bids $99,999,999.00 dollars on an iPhone.

These cracks have been all over the place since the release. Yet, I couldn't help asking myself 3 days after the iPhone release "Hasn't anyone gotten Linux on the darn thing yet?"

Hackers may just save the world. Now let's see if they can correct the suspended cymbal release in the GPO Cymbals patch on A5!
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.

Well, it was that much, but the current amount is $50,000.00. All bids over a specified amount must be authenticated, and I would presume either the authentication failed, or a hacker faked the amount.

Still, an amount that I do not understand!
