    As said: a great piece!!!!
    Congratulations!!!

You should also listen to those great ragtimes of Joplin played by Bolton (as I remember well). He does something with tempo, really great.

AH, what a great idea, Darwin - A Ragtime tribute to the waning days of summer. Nice! - I'm pretty sure I've never heard a Rag posted here in The Listening Room.

This makes me want to break out that great double album set of Joplin's complete Rags - I'm betting you might have that also?

It sounds so fine, Darwin. It could have been the new discovery of a hitherto lost Joplin composition, and I would've believed it.

OK - Now let's all run down to the ol' swimming hole and skinny dip! Last one in has to listen to Rap all day instead of Rag!

    Darwin,

Ragtime! And a really well done one at that. Bet not many Steinways get such a treat as this one.

    Hi Raymond,

Perhaps you're referring to the talented Mr. William Bolcom. I'm a big fan of his work. Thanks for listening!

    Hey Randy,

The only Joplin recording I own is a single disc of performances by Max Morath. This is actually the third rag I've posted here. If you like this, you may also be interested in the lovely Starry Night Rag or the "experimental" Five and Dime Rag. Thanks for lending an ear!

Yes!! That's the man I meant. I loved his piano playing. Thank you for correcting me.

I really enjoyed this rag. I don’t spend a lot of time with ragtime, but I do enjoy listening when a good one presents itself. Very nicely done.
