    Talking Cigar Box Guitar`s and Amps

    Today I have listend to a cool track where a Cigar Box Guitar was played.

    They sound best when played with a slide. The sound reminds me of the 1930's Robert Johnson recordings though he played a standard acoustic guitar.

    Cigar box is a derogatory term used mainly by musical instrument sales people to describe a very cheap acoustic guitar. I can now see and hear why.

    I'd like to here a violin made with a cigar box, but maybe not.

    Cohiba happens to be a very good quality Cuban Cigar.
    Those Cohiba's cost quite a lot per piece (as I remember about € 10,-).They could have done it with lesser quality, but I think that sould have ruined to sound - LOL
