I said Goodbye (by Daniele Bergamini - with GPO)

So, I'm finally back: I apologize for having been so far... I know, my partecipation in this forum, especially in listening others works, must increase!

Many things to do, some shadows from the past to let definitely go their own way... and I'm here again.

I had thiese piece, begun in january, ready, in its structure, at 99%... desperately asking me to be finished!

It's about a goodbye: not one of those you need to pronounce with words, because someone's leaving... but, instead, one of those ones that your heart had to accept, for an unreachable dream, for an unbreakable wall.

Thank you very, very much for your listening!
    Yours
    Daniele Bergamini

    P.S.
This is not related to the real-life drama tied to "Concert for a character"... this is a completely different story, happened before!

    Hello Daniele,

You have composed dramatic music which in my opinion expresses what you wanted it to express.
The violin really comes out wonderfully at 1:17.
It is sometimes hard to say goodbye and let go, but when you close one door there is always another opening, and I hope that you will compose a new piece about this too.

Oh, you're totally true! Other pieces I posted in this forum have a happier mood... it's Life, in its complexity, sometimes carrying happines, sometimes sadness: the most important thing, in my honest opinion, is to try to learn the lesson that each single moment has to teach.

Thank you for your kind comment!

Wow, very emotionally powerful Daniele. Enjoyed the grace notes or slight glissando in the violin solos. Wonderful job - and completely paints a sorrowful farewell.

    Daniele,

This is very powerful and emotional. The solo violin that comes in half way through is heart rending. Very well done.

    Hello, Daniele

I've been looking forward to when you had more music to play for us here, I've always enjoyed your pieces so much. People who enjoy coming to the Forums do so as often as time fits on their schedules, so no need to apologize for being absent awhile - we're just glad to see you again.

Romantic, grand, tragic, straight-forward with its emotion and easily effective on your listeners with its Song structure, almost folk in its progression. Very strong and effective - And you've certainly made the most out of the GPO solo Violin you're using in the piece.

Great to see you again, Daniele. Thanks for the gift of your passionate music.

    Daniele:

Wonderful piece and a good violin solo.
A definite feeling of longing or loss in
this music, but it is that which makes
    it beautiful.........

    BRAVO, Daniele

Very nice development in this. It has kind of an epic sound to it. The violin sounded great. I enjoyed it a lot.

This isn't normally the kind of music I listen to, but the violin work is absolutely *masterful* and definitely did the job for me. Is that GPO or Strad or...? Well, anyway the song is excellent and the playing (on the violin) is astounding, like you spent weeks just tweaking knobs for the right sound. Thanks for sharing this!
