    Refreshing samples on a disk.

Does anyone remove their samples and reinstall them after being on a disk for some extended time?

I'm not sure what your question is. Are you saying "disc" when you really mean hard drive?

Data files on a disc (the CD or DVD original) ought to remain uncorrupted for a very long time if they are stored properly. Hard drive files could conceivably be corrupted over time, especially if they are used often. I don't think that I have actually had that problem. Certainly I've had my share of corrupted program files and one occasionaly has to reinstall the software program. And its almost de rigeur to reinstall the operating system after a couple of years due to corrupted system and registry files.

Am I missing your point here?
