    Hi luckpcn,

I own this keyboard and the closest thing I can see to an expression pedal input is an input marked 'volume'. I'm not sure exactly if there is a difference between a volume pedal and an expression pedal, so you might want to wait to see if anyone else can clarify this before making your purchase.

You can assign any MIDI Controler to a pedal that you put in the volume jack.
So yes you can use it with an expression pedal. Though it's a PITA because every time you start the thing you have to assign it again, but hey - it works.

    so to sum up:

I can use expression pedal or any continuous pedal controller with the volume input and I'll be able to send messages like with a mod wheel ?

I am using the exact same setup here and it works as you want. But note that when you assign the pedal to say CC11 the volume slider on the keyboard will be either assigned to CC11 also or be disabled - don't remember right now. You cannot use the slider and the pedal with different CCs.

How do I do this btw? I got a pedal with my VMK-88 but so far I have only been able to send on/off signals (pedal down on, pedal up off for instance). I havn't managed to get it to work like a mod-wheel... perhaps I need another kind of pedal`?

Ehm, don't know if I get you right, but you will need a pedal like in "wah-wah pedal" - not the sustain pedal...and then you will have to RTFM for how to assign Midi Controler with your Keyboard
