I love the way it lingers. Have you tried the one in GPO??

That Crystal Bachet in the second link sounds beautiful, wish we had one of those.

Check out this kid ( the one under that has 12-Yearold Guitar Prodogy):

Wish they would stop asking all the questions and let him play a whole song.

Amazing fact: The glass armonica in GPO is fake. It's actually based on the handbell samples, with a slow attack envelope added. Sounds very similar to the real thing, though.

About the Glass Armonica, did you know that in the original orchestration for The Nutcracker, Tchaikovsky actually wrote the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy's for the glass armonica and not for the celesta? He only changed it right before the premiere to use the just invented celesta. You can actually find a performance on youtube of it played on glass armonica and it actually sounds pretty cool, in a way even more etherial than the celesta.

Can you imagine if he hadn't changed it. Then would John Williams love the glass armonica instead of the celesta?

Hey, I feel cheated - that's not the same at all. Last time didn't you say, 'Harry Potter on Glass Armonica anyone?' or something like that?
