Glory to God the Future of Classical Music is Here

The children, twens and young adults have fallen in love with classical music thanks to video games.

Please check out the Video Games Live Trailer in the link below. I am inspired beyond my wildest dreams. Please click on the "View Trailer." This is something I have dreamed of for years. Total and complete interaction of various media.

    Inspiring,

incedently almost all of that music playing in the trailor is from the Myst series...some of the best computer rpg games every created!

    http://www.cyan.com/products/index.php

The first was from their interacive online game: Uru. Ages Beyond Myst

The second was from Myst IV: Revelation.

The third is unknown to me, but it may well be from Myst V which I only played once.

The fourth, that occupies most of the second half of the trailor, is the main theme from Myst III: Exile.

The music in Myst is always top notch. You guys should check out those games.

Gary not since Schubert's render of this poem has anything worthy been pened. I loved you "The Elf King." This would be a splended game soundtrack. Truly wonderful.

Matt, Myst isn't one of those where you shoot everyone and blood spraying allover the screen and stuff, like one i saw in Fry's, is it?

    Most certainly not, Leaf.

Myst requires an appreciation for atmosphere, and a keen brain. The game is based on intuitive puzzles (although don't think of them as weird math stuff or anything) that you discover in an enviroment and have to use what you've learned about that enviroment to solve. The stories center around the family of a man called Atrus..... I won't give too much away. Check 'em out

    An observation of mine:

Kids in the baby boomer generation chiefly got introduced to orchestral music and opera through Warner Bros. and Disney cartoons (Loony Tunes, Fantasia), originally shown in movie theaters.

Kids in the current generation will get introduced to orchestral music chiefly through video games.
