I am trying to get a handle on something that would work for us guitarists who have little or no piano technique and who want to compose with orchestral libs.
Mouse-clicking for note entry would take all day, so I am wondering, for those libs that enable keyswitching, would a MIDI guitar with MIDI bass pedals mapped to the keyswitch be a productive way of note entry?
Yeah It Would,
You could also add extra MIDI controls to help out too.
The FP8 will let you build and buy the necessary pedals to enhance your original idea also. I love MIDI live and once comtemplated using a joystick stuck up my rectum. I could rub against my racks and morph synth patches like a Prophet VS.
Sorry, I was merely exaggerating to get my point across on how MIDI CC's make a huge difference in recording and live performance.
