New Solo Strings Demo available

Hey, the solo strings sample demos are pretty much the best I´ve heard.

Quite in the league of Kirk Hunter strings and Garritan solo stradivari - or better.

What´s the catch?

is this the same xsample series as previously released for Giga and akai, or is it something completely new?

Those demos were very nice. Especially nice since one is able to read the music while listening. And especially nice for me because I really enjoy writing music for string quartet and up until now, I just don't get as good quality playback as I would like. I am purchasing a number of solo striing sample ensambles, Kirk Hunter, VSL and I am very tempted to add yours to the list...... now if I can only organize a new machine and learn how to optimize the use of samples.

What would really, really delight me.... not that you will do it, or can do it, or want to do it... would be to take one of my string quartet movements and make a demo of it, so I (and others) can hear what you can do with a lenghty finale file.

If you are so inclined, you can go to the Finale showcase search engine and look at my string quartets under.....

I must say, I'm really impressed with all the demos I heard! Quite awesome!! I agree with hebex, your sample demos are some of the best I've heard!

After listening to the demos, I visited your order page and got the .pdf info files on all Xsample K2 Libraries. And what can I say, just perfect!! You thought of everything, even for notation program users, like me. Your idea of using MIDI CC0 for varying articulations is the best. This way, we can run all effects in one stave for one instrument, just by naming the articulation we want, is that it? If so, that's just superb!!

So, now a couple of other questions: besides those libraries already available at your site, are you planning to make some brass or section strings in the near future? Both would be very welcomed, also. And would you consider offering a special discount (say 20% or so) if one would buy all K2 Libraries collection?

Very impressive demos Hans-Josef. I'm sure you've been asked this before, but are you thinking about making a version of the xsample library compatible with Sibelius 5?

the Xsample Chamber Ensemble is now compatible, means it works now with sibelius 5.1!
