    Exclamation Serenity Itm

Previously posted as only a short Harp Etude. Has now started to develop into a full blown score. Hopefully comes more in the future. I have so many other things so as much as I want to sit her another 7-8 hours working on it, I can only bring you this so far.

    Please enjoy

    ---Serenity ITM (In the Making)

It is very pretty and definitely serene. It moves along well with good instrument choices. I like what I hear coming next.

Oooo. I like it! Especially that exciting hint of what's coming next. Can't wait for the whole piece.

Very nice! The pastoral/folk/celtic influences come together into something unique; the opening is lovely, and the low strings set a wonderful intro for the harp.

Looking forward to the development of this.

Oooh, good! I've been looking forward to more of this. I like the way it's going. Almost made me get up and dance with my hands tied to my sides.

    It's going to be good!

Don't forget to add at least 6 tubas.

You've got a great thing going! I like what you've added and where you're leading with this. You have such sweetly compelling harp and oboe melodies happening in the opening, I think a hint of rubato, especially towards the cadence points (as you refine this later) would draw the beauty out of them out even more.

You're really developing your composing chops!

A very nice piece of music. Only one comment. You do two harps and they are coming from different "ears" and THAT is annoying to me. Put them together on one side of the stage (both left or both right or the middle). Now it is like some very cheap effect and that breaks this wonderful piece.

Hmm. I don't really know about this one. I mean, I wanted it as if theres one harp on left stage, one on right. Maybe if I pan them closer to the center, but I don't think I want them both on the same side.

Also, about the rubato. I do plan to add some later. At the moment if I record the piece with Sibelius, I have to record seperate tracks for the celtic dance section, vs. the other section, mainly because Sibelius doesn't let you change from Rubato to Non Rubato in the middle of the recording process.
