Thumbs up Re: Cubase 4.1 and Cubase Studio 4.1 Updates Released

This is a really good release.

It's worth it for the sample editor and project-level logical editor extensions alone, but there's so much more. The most surprising "little" feature is the "Quick Controls" concept - which it looks like they swiped it out of HALion and put it in their sequencers. It makes mapping controls much easier, particularly as you build your own custom track presets for your VSTis.

Here's the list of limitations for operating in 64-bit

    http://www.kvraudio.com/news/8024.html

I'm staying with Vista 32-bit for production work, but will have Vista 64-bit as an option (I'm actually multi-booting into any of three options, XPSP2, V32 or V64) to keep an eye on various plugins as 64 bit versions are released and to continue to use XP for apps like Partition Magic that are not Vista compatible yet.

Cubase Mac Users- You should read this.
Although I am getting Leopard (Mac OS 10.5,) I will not load it on my production machine until I know all the software (e.g. Cubase, Sibelius, Finale, K2 Player, etc.) will work.
