Stylus RMX and Underworld's "Oblivion with Bells"

Being a Stylus RMX user and a big fan of Underworld, I was surprised when on their latest album I heard a barely edited preset from Stylus on the track "Ring Road" - I believe it's the "Eclipse" multi from the Core library.

Only surprised because Underworld don't generally use recognisable presets, so it jumped out at me. Yay Spectrasonics!

yes, it's the 54-Eclipse suite (Combo element) set at 95 BPM

    not much effort from them...

well I don't know...noone knocks a band for using a classic guitar sound, do they?....RMX has become a classic!

I personally try to make my use of the presets a bit more original (through editing, FX, etc) , but hey, if it fits-why not use it like that?

I am with you there! I do very little editing ( at the moment) As you say if it fits then why not.

I find RMX and Atmosphere invaluable to what I write.
