Quite simple and straight-forward, Gary; I should
think this would work well for young players?

Hey gary. A very nice arrangement. I just got CMB, and I am looking forward to using it. I think the quiet moments were just a little to quiet. I could hardly hear them, but the piece was enjoyable.

    Thanks for listening, Jay.
More often than not, my result is too loud. I did want an
    extreme difference.

    Thanks for listening, David.
Often it is comfortable for a Band to have a light piece in their concert.

    Hi Gary,

Some really nice writing here, with a couple of unexpected harmonic twists that most definitely work well, adding interest to the arrangement.

There are a couple of spots that seem pretty low volume-wise, but -- to me -- they had a very effective almost "off-stage" effect.

    Nice job on this!

    Gary,

This is a nice work for a younger group. There is nice trading of voices so everyone gets a chance to stand out. Everyone gets a chance to shine. Thanks for sharing it with the forum.

    Hi, Gary

I want to join the others in congratulating you on a really well done arrangement.

I know you want a good strong dynamic range in your recording, and I know how difficult it is to achieve that. When we have too large a range, listeners end up having to turn their volume controls up and down throughout a piece--and of course that's not what we want.

This one is a "knob twiddler"--with the lows disappearing when the playback volume has been set at a comfortable level. Then, having turned the knob up so the soft passages work, it's suddenly far too loud for the next bit - and so on.

In other words, I also need to join the others in suggesting that the contrasts are just too disparate.

Reiterating - it's certainly an admirable arrangement.
