    Red face Oops. Er...help please

Ok, I have dual monitors. Never had a problem and I dont really think that dual monitors have anything to with this but I have lost my K2 standalone version some where and I cant find it. Shows up on the start bar as being there but it somehow got off of the screen. I right clicked the start bar icon and it says minimize or restore or move. None of these seems to help. I have restarted K2, still not on screen. I have restarted my PC and restarted K2 and that still doesnt help. Same thing. Any ideas here?

    Hi Eric.
Have you tried to configure your PC to one screen and restarting it?
Perhaps it places everything in the first monitor...
Just an idea...I hope this helps.

    Good luck anyway.

Thanks Tari but still no luck. When I click on it in the space bar, I can see the icon shoot (like in a split second) to the far right of the screen and disappear off screen. I have no problems using K2 in cubase as a vsti. Just wanted to play around a bit with the standalone instead of opening a whole project. This is one of those things that is really quite silly but yet, I have no idea how to fix. Thanks for the try though.

It is really strange...did you reinstalled K2? Who knows...

I sometimes have this problem too, then I right-click on the start bar icon, then on move and then left-click on the empty desktop ... and if I remember it right I drag the mouse even from right to left (assuming the window was on the right monitor before.

    Hope this helps

    Re: Oops. Er...help please

I recently reinstalled EVERYTHING after a hard drivew replacement but all had been working fine including K2 until just the other day. No idea really. THe last thing I want to do is reinstall K2 again and rebuild my database. I just got it to where I want it again. Thanks again. I'm sure someone will have a fix. Fingers crossed,

What about unplugging the 2nd monitor? Your windows should appear on the only monitor and then you can do what you like with them.

Thanks but I already tried that via Tari's suggestion.
