    *2008* Garritan Community Christmas

What better time to make a Christmas song for next year's CD than during the Christmas holidays.

Pick your song now and please don't pick one if you think there's a chance you won't make it in time for the October 31st deadline.
Try to keep it right around four minutes maximum, and choose only a public domain song.

    Thanks everyone!

Very good idea to start sooner Dan.

I think i would like to try again with Sleigh Ride, and this time i'm going to try to make it better rather than screwing it up at the last moment.

...and get it rendered better with a DAW.

I may also want to get your advice on some things when you are not too busy, but i must confess i have not done much with it since the submittal and have to first remove or repair some blunders.

    Good idea Dan,

No better time to start than when we are in the holiday spirit. Original songs are also welcome.

Maybe next year we can do a double album since every year we seem to have more submissions that we can fit on a single CD.

Thanks Dan for making this happen!

    Happy Holidays!

I'm in this time. We Five Kings.

(Not really a typo, you can put We Three Kings if you really want).

Put me down for another original composition...let's see if I can outdo the 2007 entry.

Well, I'm in, but I don't know what I want to do yet. I've done two slow songs in a row, so I think I'll try to do a fast one next. But I can't think about it right now.
