Good website for loading up a soundtracked vid?

    Hi everyone

I want to share a piece of work Ive recently done for my course with you, as i think you might find it interesting on different levels. It is an animation advert from 1920 (!) that was shown in cinemas by the legendary Heath Robinson. It was the only animation he ever did. It was set as a task for us to soundtrack by our lecturer who was approached by the discovers of this little gem to soundtrack it the first time.

I would love to share it with everyone for the reasons above, plus its the first time Ive used JABB properly (although Ive had it a year now!)...so anyone know of a website? its 20Mb and box.net only allows up to 10Mb uploads for free, and im saving my pennies for Go-around!

    ANy websites?!
    Thanks!

cheers daz, im aware of that website (who isnt?!) but im looking for something that people here can stream the video of, as people understandably dont like downloading stuff the whole time. Its only a 20Mb file.
    thanks 4 the suggestion tho.

    Ben,

perhaps you ask to Gary to upload it here at Northernsounds?

    Hi, Ben

It would be good for you to get a website server so you always have online storage for instant sharing of anything you want - photos, videos, HTML pages. I use the somewhat antique Tripod, but it works for direct linking. Videos can have their components uploaded there (or to Any website server you want to subscribe to) and by giving visitors access to the main HTML page of that video file, it will stream.

I know we've gotten used to these storage sites like Box, which are great up to a limit, but they still don't replace sites where you can build websites like Tripod.

By the way, if you want to use Box anyway, it's only $5 a month to go beyond the 10 meg limit--that's what I do with Box. And I pay $10 a month for unlimited everything at Tripod.

Not sure if this is what you wanted, but,

    I use my webspace.

1and1.com is FANTASTIC. They are one of the biggest webservers in the world and their pricing is really really nice. LOTS of storage space, montly bandwidth, etc.

    I highly recommend them.

    Thanks

    YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/

If my granddaughter can figure out how to post her own video blog on YouTube, anybody can do it.
